In the month of February 2018 Venancio completed its 27 years of history, a life full of hard work and achievements.  Where, since its foundation, has remained a family-owned company whose mission is to be preferred a global supplier of high quality, top value cooking equipment in the foodservice industry.

On February 6, 1991, initially located in the building of a former company in the center of the city of Venancio Aires.  Venancio began its activities with the production of wood fire ranges, acting in only two markets, nationally in the state of Rio Grande do Sul, Brazil and externally exporting to Argentina.

Today Venancio currently has around 730 employees, who receive periodical training to maintain quality in manufacturing and customer service.  Additionally, Venancio’s products are presents throughout the national territory and in more than 20 countries.

Metalurgica Venancio has a factory with 560,000 square feet packed with punching machines, laser cutting machines, along with many other technologies and equipment.

Venancio also has its own foundry with the capacity to smelt up to 900,000 pounds/month of cast iron.  With a factory, this robust and versatile Venancio is able to manufacture 100% of its cooking equipment and provider a higher quality at a competitive price.

Our factory also makes Industrial porcelain enamel (also known as vitreous enamel) and uses this innovative application in crucial parts of our equipment.  Our manufacturing capacity is what sets us apart from the competition.  It gives us stronger control over the quality of the equipment while making our products more cost-efficient.

100% Manufactured VS Assembled

  • Manufacturing is a process of converting raw material into the finished product by using various processes, machines, and energy.

  • Assembling/Production is a manufacturing process of converting inputs into outputs.  It is basically the process of making something by combining various resources outsourced by other manufacturers.

Why this matters?

Because when you outsource manufacturing it is hard to control the quality.  Even though you may have a great production line and the process you are still dependent on the quality of various manufacturers outsourced for specific parts.  By making/manufacturing every piece of our cooking equipment, Venancio can assure that the quality of our equipment is one of the best in the industry.  This also gives us the ability to quickly and easily improve our equipment and all of its components.
